PRODUCT REVIEW | Shea by Asal 100% Organic Whipped Shea butter blend

Happy New Year loves! On today’s post, I wanted to share with you a product that I have absolutely fallen in love with. I have been using this whipped Shea butter for a few months and I’ve recently added it to my regimen-I’m totally sold! I use this after washing my hair to seal in moisture, it’s the C in my LOC moisturizing method (Liquid/ Leave in, Oil and Cream or butter). The reason why Shea butter doesn’t work for many naturals is because they use it as a moisturizer. Technically, Shea butter cannot moisturize hair, only water or a water based product can do that.

They stimulate the hair follicles boosting the growth of our natural hair. They also soothe irritated scalp and help with dandruff. A happy and health scalp equals stronger and healthier hair!Rosemary, Peppermint and Lavender are a few of my favorite essential oils. Let’s break them down below…

How to Incorporate Harvest of Sunshine Products into your Regimen

About a month ago, I received these goodies from Harvest of Sunshine. I am not really a product junkie but once in a while I like to experiment with new products. Harvest of Sunshine is a local made brand and if you follow me on Instagram, you already know how much I love these products. ย Harvest of Sunshine offers a range of products that are for cleansing, moisturizing and strengthening our kinks.

I have beenย a huge fan of Shea Moisture products ever since I started my natural hair journey. When I heard they released a new line infused with Jamaican Black Castor Oil, I had to get my hands on some.
