What I wore : White Out
Don’t we all love how an all white outfit can look so fresh without putting in major efforts? I wanted something comfortable to wear while attending the all white themed Shaza members club dinner launch and I already had a perfect outfit in mind. Luckily, my tailor was able to make it in 2 days. I wore a crop top and a thigh high slit maxi skirt paired with gladiator sandals for a comfortable and relaxed feel. You can easily dress up this look with a pair of heels.
I styled my hair in cornrows- My favorite protective style! Cornrows are not only cute but quick, easy to install and most of all very low maintenance. We used 2 packs of darling abuja braids. This style lasted me about a week and 2 days. To maintain it, I spritz my scalp with water + glycerine +rosemary oil mix every other day. I also massaged my scalp and hairline with Jamaican black castor oil every night and tied a satin scarf to bed. As a result, I was able to keep moisture in my hair and keep the cornrows neat and frizz free.
Tip : Make sure your hair is clean and moisturised before installing the cornrows and avoid handling them unnecessary to prevent frizz.
